Inji Ha is originally from Korea and is a freelance scenic designer and artist. She is currently based in Alabama, where she works as a prop and scenic designer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She approaches scenic design as a collaborative, story-driven process and enjoys working closely with directors, performers, and fellow designers to build worlds that feel immersive and alive. For her, it’s about creating spaces where the story and the audience can genuinely connect.
Her work spans scenic art, props, and production design, and she values that range, it keeps her process flexible and hands-on. She cares as much about the overall atmosphere of a piece as she does about the small details that bring it to life on stage.
Recent projects include Dead Man’s Cell Phone (2025), GUT (굿) ACT 2: Memoirs (2025), Violet the Musical (2025), and Les Contes d’Hoffmann (2023). She’s especially interested in site-specific and immersive work, and enjoys collaborating with other artists to create new, shared experiences.
Inji holds an MFA in Live Design and Production from the University of Texas at Austin and a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology from Auburn University.
